Don't fret about Costa. Roper was against the number 2's, so his stats must be taken with a grain of salt. The coaching staff doesn't seem overly exciting about anyone but Costa, but he must cut down on mistakes or this season will not go like many of us hope.

the coaches' poll gave O a #20 ranking. Same top Five.

Despite growing up in Eugene, I was a Sonics fan. With Ridnour being traded to the Bucks what very little reason there was to follow the NBA franchise formerly known as the Seattle Sonics is gone.

For the second time Miller described our secondary as salty, in context it means something like good. I always understood that salty meant annoyed (and a quick urban dictionary backs me up). Any one know where he's getting this from?

Well, the Pac-10 QBs are dropping like flies today. Sanchez's injury sounds fairly serious. His injury could greatly upset what many perceive as the weakest part of the USC team: the passing game.

Jake Locker was hurt in practice today. While it doesn't sound too severe (the MRI is not in yet), he'll at least be out a few days. While I'm still expecting him to play in the opener, Washington needs to much practice with Locker as they can get.

There's some pretty large rule changes in college football this year, including more clock rules changes, that will make it more like the NFL. PS3 roster

Forgive me if this has already been discussed but, the roster for the Ducks on NCAA 09 for PS3 is just silly. Does anyone have a more accurate (in terms of player numbers at least) say something that include Roper and Blount) or know a Playstation online user name that has a better one?
